Cookies with chocolate chips

This recipe provides complex carbohydrates that will give your child the energy they need for a prolonged period of time; the egg also provides vitamins A, E and D. Thanks to Vitafos®, this recipe will provide extra proteins, vitamins and minerals and an extra 12% of cereals that will help to cover your kids’ daily needs for these nutrients.

Ingredients for one serving:

  • 2 scoops of Vitafos® Biscuit (28 g)
  • 100 grams of Wheat flour
  • 30 grams of Butter
  • 1 Egg yolk 
  • 1 spoonful (15 g) of whipping Cream, 35% fat
  • 25 grams of Dark chocolate with 70% cocoa (it can be sugar-free)
  • 1/4 teaspoonful of Yeast
  • A pinch of Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoonful of Vanilla essence

Preparation:

  1. Mix the flour, yeast, salt and the scoops of Vitafos® Biscuit
  2. Melt the butter in the microwave slightly.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients with the butter, add the egg yolk, vanilla essence and the whipping cream.
  4. Knead the dough into two balls and form biscuits with it; there should be enough for two.
  5. Break up the chocolate into medium-sized pieces and add pieces to each biscuit making sure that the chips are inside the dough.
  6. Place the biscuits on baking paper on a tray and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180°C. Let them cool completely before eating them.
